SHOW SYNOPSIS:
Things are different this year for a group of neighborhood kids who are surprised with a very special Christmas treasure hunt from their beloved, surrogate “grandmother,” Ms. Mert, who recently passed away. As they try to carry on their holiday tradition, “Ms. Mert’s Holly Jolly Merry Christmas Movie Night,” they are surprised with a singing fruitcake telegram delivering one last Christmas movie-watching party and a treasure hunt to end all treasure hunts!
Among the festivities and searching for hidden clues, Izzy is torn whether to apply for college or stay home and help her friends and family. Money has always been in short supply, but never the love of her parents and her beloved Mert. She’ll continue to encourage her friends to carry on their Christmas traditions, knowing that, as silly Ms. Mert always said, “Follow faith and pass the mustard!”
